What is supermemory?
supermemory extracts facts from conversations, builds user profiles, and even handles knowledge updates, contradictions, and forgetting expired information, so the agent gets the context it needs at the right time. Its own model, learner-1, extracts context and stores it in a vector-graph DB, then injects tokens into the model context in real time. It is offered through an API, plugins, and MCP, and handles RAG, connectors, and file processing in one system. It can also be deployed in air-gapped environments such as data centers, VPCs, and laptops.
- Extracts facts from conversations; handles changes over time, contradictions, and automatic forgetting
- Automatically maintained user profile (about 50ms)
- Hybrid search that queries RAG and memory at once
- Google Drive, Gmail, Notion, OneDrive, and GitHub connectors
- Multimodal extraction: PDF, image OCR, video transcription, and code chunking
- Plugins and MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and more
- Self-hosted and air-gapped deployment
Who uses supermemory and for what
- AI tool users: give coding tools persistent memory across conversations
- AI product developers: add memory, RAG, and user profiles through a single API
