What is Haystack?
Haystack is an open-source AI framework for building production-grade AI agents, RAG applications, and scalable multimodal search systems. It connects reusable components, each handling a specific task, into pipelines, and comes with document stores, agents, tools, and many integrations. It connects with OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Hugging Face, Weaviate, Pinecone, Elasticsearch, and others without vendor lock-in. Pipelines are serializable, cloud-agnostic, and Kubernetes-ready, and the company separately offers enterprise support and the Haystack Enterprise Platform, which is built on Haystack (free trial available).
