What is Spring AI?
Spring AI is an application framework that applies Spring ecosystem design principles, such as portability and modular design, to the AI field. Its core goal is to connect enterprise data and APIs with AI models. It supports major model providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Ollama, as well as multiple vector databases, through a common API, and offers structured output, tool calling, observability, RAG, chat memory, and more. You can get started with Spring Boot auto-configuration and starters, and 2.x is compatible with Spring Boot 4.x, while 1.1.x is compatible with Spring Boot 3.5.x.
