What is Marker?
Marker converts PDF, image, PPTX, DOCX, XLSX, HTML, and EPUB files into Markdown, JSON, chunks, and HTML. It cleans up tables, forms, equations, inline equations, links, references, and code blocks, extracts images, and removes noise such as headers and footers. The --use_llm option lets you use an LLM alongside it to improve accuracy, for example by merging tables that span pages. Its developer, Datalab, also runs a managed platform with higher accuracy.
