What is Tenstorrent?
Under the banner "compute for every scale," Tenstorrent sells AI accelerator cards (Blackhole), workstations (TT-QuietBox), and servers (Tenstorrent Galaxy), and also offers chip IP licensing. It says its IP is transparent, its architecture is open, and its software is open source. It compiles PyTorch, JAX, and ONNX models with TT-Forge, an open-source MLIR-based compiler, and provides low-level SDKs such as TT-NN and TT-Metalium, plus an OpenAI-compatible inference server. Even without hardware, you can try the silicon through the Tenstorrent Cloud Console in your browser.
- Blackhole PCIe cards (passive, active, and liquid cooling)
- TT-QuietBox workstation (runs models of up to 120 billion parameters at your desk)
- Tenstorrent Galaxy scale-out server
- Chip IP licensing
- TT-Forge: open-source MLIR-based compiler (PyTorch, JAX, ONNX)
- TT-NN·TT-Metalium SDK
