What is Warp?
Warp is an agentic development environment that started as a terminal. It can use its built-in coding agent or external CLI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI. Warp Factories defines repositories, agents, models, and permissions as code (factory.yaml) to run agents across the whole development process, and provides evaluation, benchmarking, and self-improvement out of the box. Its main use cases are code review, bug investigation, refactoring and migration, and incident response. The client code is open source.
