What is Devin?
Devin is an autonomous coding agent that runs in the cloud or on the user's computer, tests with its own browser, and works until a PR is ready to merge. When needed, it spins up Windows, Mac, and Linux virtual machines to build and test, and records the click-through process. It splits large tasks across multiple cloud agents to process them in parallel, and keeps working even if you close your laptop. When called with @Devin in Slack or Teams, it reads the thread and works on the task, and with automations set up it proactively handles bugs, CI failures, and alerts. It also provides a Wiki that organizes the codebase and architecture like a map.
