What is MusicGen?
MusicGen is a text-to-music generation model included in AudioCraft, Meta AI's audio generation research codebase, and it creates diverse, long music samples from text provided by the user. It is a single autoregressive language model that operates over a stream of compressed discrete music tokens, obtaining tokens from the raw waveform with the EnCodec neural audio codec. AudioCraft is a PyTorch library that provides MusicGen's inference and training code.
