What is Bark?
Bark is a transformer-based text-to-audio model made by Suno. It produces realistic multilingual speech as well as music, background noise, and simple sound effects, and it can also make non-verbal sounds such as laughing, sighing, and crying. It notes that, because it is a fully generative model rather than a conventional TTS, the output may differ from the prompt. Pretrained checkpoints are released, and the MIT license allows commercial use.
