What is MLflow Model Registry?
MLflow Model Registry is a central model store, set of APIs, and UI for collaboratively managing the entire lifecycle of ML models. It manages which experiment or run produced a model (lineage), versions, aliases, metadata tags, and annotations. It can be used both in open-source MLflow and in managed platforms such as Databricks. Aliases (such as @champion) let you change which model version serves production traffic, managing the deployment flow.
