What is Axolotl?
Axolotl is a free, open-source LLM fine-tuning framework. It supports LoRA and QLoRA, quantization-aware training (QAT), reinforcement learning such as GRPO, text diffusion training, and more. On multi-GPU and multi-node setups, you can train large models by combining FSDP2 with context, tensor, and expert parallelism. Trained models can be exported to GGUF and deployed on llama.cpp and Ollama.
