What is zclaw?
zclaw is an AI agent written in C that lives on the ESP32, aiming for a total firmware size of 888 KiB or less in the default build. You talk to it through Telegram or a hosted web relay, and it supports scheduled tasks, GPIO control, persistent memory, and custom tools created in natural language. When you send it a message in plain language, it is turned into tool calls that the firmware runs on the chip. Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, and Ollama (user endpoint) can be used as the LLM backend. A local USB admin console allows recovery even without Wi-Fi or an LLM.
