What is hermes-agent?
Hermes Agent is a self-improving AI agent made by Nous Research. It creates skills from experience, improves them as it is used, and comes to understand the user across sessions. You can talk to a single agent with a single memory from many places, including Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal, email, and CLI. It supports natural-language scheduled automation, isolated sub-agents, web search, and browser automation. It can run anywhere, from a $5 VPS to a GPU cluster or serverless infrastructure, and you can choose the model provider you want. It is free open source under the MIT license; model and hosting costs are separate.
