QwQ-32B is a 32-billion-parameter reasoning model built by the Qwen team through research on scaling reinforcement learning (RL), and it states that it delivers performance comparable to DeepSeek-R1, which has 671 billion parameters. It was trained with outcome-based rewards: an accuracy verifier checks math answers, and a code execution server checks whether code is correct.
