What is Jina Embeddings?
Jina Embeddings converts text and images (and, for some models, audio and video) into fixed-length vectors for use in semantic search, similarity, and clustering. The latest v5-text comes in two sizes, 677M small and 239M nano, with 32K context, Matryoshka dimensions, and GGUF/MLX quantization support. v5-omni places text, images, audio, and video in a single embedding space. The API works by topping up tokens, and it can also be deployed on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
