What is Composio?
Composio is a service that turns requests between AI and apps into real actions, connecting AI you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex, or your own harness, to more than 1,500 apps including Gmail, Slack, and Notion. It finds and loads only the tools a task needs from a catalog to reduce wasted context, connects apps with a single click, and keeps connections working even when apps change. It provides per-user OAuth, API key, and token management, app event triggers, and sandboxes with connected accounts already attached. It can be used through TypeScript and Python SDKs, a CLI, and a hosted MCP endpoint (MCP gateway).
- Tools and toolkits for more than 1,500 apps
- Intent-based tool search loads only the tools you need (saves context)
- Per-user OAuth, API key, and token management with automatic refresh
- Triggers that subscribe to app events
- Code execution sandbox with connected accounts ready
- TypeScript and Python SDKs and CLI, with adapters for OpenAI Agents, Claude Agent SDK, LangChain, and more
- Managed MCP gateway that bundles all tools into one
- Enterprise SSO, governance, and audit controls
