What is Apache Iceberg?
Apache Iceberg is a high-performance format for huge analytic tables. It brings the reliability and simplicity of SQL tables to big data, letting engines such as Spark, Trino, Flink, Presto, Hive, and Impala safely work with the same tables at the same time. It supports merge, update, and delete SQL, schema evolution without rewriting tables, hidden partitioning, time travel and rollback, and data compaction. The core Java library is the reference implementation.
