What is Obsidian Skills?
A collection of agent skills for Obsidian that follows the Agent Skills specification and can be used with skill-supporting agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode. It includes skills for writing and editing Obsidian Markdown, Bases, and JSON Canvas files, working with a vault through the Obsidian CLI, and extracting clean Markdown from web pages. Install it through the plugin marketplace, npx skills, or manual copying.
- obsidian-markdown: write and edit Obsidian Markdown, including wikilinks, embeds, callouts, and properties
- obsidian-bases: write and edit Obsidian Bases (.base) views, filters, and formulas
- json-canvas: write and edit JSON Canvas (.canvas) nodes and connections
- obsidian-cli: manipulate a vault with the Obsidian CLI, develop plugins and themes
- defuddle: extract Markdown from web pages with the clutter removed (saves tokens)
- knap: render Markdown templates from JSON and CSV data and generate files in bulk
