What is Helicone?
Helicone is an AI gateway and LLM observability platform for routing, debugging, and analyzing requests from AI apps. A single OpenAI-compatible unified API gives access to more than 100 models including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, with intelligent routing and automatic fallback. It logs all requests with one line of code, lets you inspect traces and sessions of agents and chatbots, and tracks cost, latency, and quality metrics. It offers prompt versioning, a playground, datasets, caching, rate limiting, and alerts, and has self-hosting documentation.
