What is Garak?
garak is an LLM vulnerability scanner that checks whether an LLM can be made to fail in unwanted ways. It probes for various weaknesses, including hallucination, data leakage, prompt injection, misinformation, toxic generation, and jailbreaks. It combines static, dynamic, and adaptive probes, and when you scan a chatbot or model, it gives you a full report of what works well and what is vulnerable to attack. It is a command-line tool and open source, updated by NVIDIA and the community together.
